The stay was primarily for family reasons, visiting M.D. Anderson, which made it all the more important to have a comfortable spot. The room was cozy and well-kept, and the attentive staff, especially Savannah at check-in, made the experience even better. The on-site restaurant served quality meals, and I particularly appreciated the complimentary snacks and the great coffee available in the mornings. Overall, it was a pleasant experience in a central location next to the museums.

missingWrote a review on Jul 29great locationfriendly staffunique décorrun-down roomawkward servicecleanliness issues
The location of Zaza Houston Museum District is fantastic. it's close to museums and parks. The valet staff greeted me warmly and provided a quick service. I enjoyed the unique décor and the lively atmosphere by the pool. However, the room felt a bit run-down, with visible smudges and a broken lamp. There were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom that caught my attention. Also, the dinner service at the Monarch was awkward. I was refused a regular table while knowing they were available. The waiter was great, but the hostess was not welcoming at all. The price for the stay left me expecting a lot more, especially for a special occasion. That part was really disappointing.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel, especially enjoying the free coffee and snacks in the lobby every morning and the amazing food at the on-site restaurant. The outdoor pool and the wellness center were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The only downside was the parking situation, which could be tight at busy times. 🌟
